The recent OFSTED report (September 2008) says

“Results in the 2007 national examinations maintained the school's traditionally good performance at GCSE.”

“An above average proportion of students gained five or more GCSE passes at grades A* to C with mathematics and English included, compared to the national average.”

2009 Results - Key Stage 4

59% of mainstream students gained 5A* - C including English and Mathematics.

68% of mainstream students gained 5A* - C.

99.6% of mainstream students gained 5A* - G.

Progress Measures Key Stage 4 – 2008 and 2009

The measures below look at some of the grades students attained at the end of GCSE compared with the levels they attained in the Key Stage 2 tests. They calculate the percentage of students who made three levels progress between Key Stage 2 & Key Stage 4.

Of 26 Subjects identified in the 2008 Raise Online (OFSTED) analysis, 21 subjects were performing at least as expected when compared with points score nationally, with 7 of these subjects performing significantly better than expected. This data is not yet available for 2009.
